God hiding Himself in simplicity,… – Page 40

265 Now, so, He was so simple. When this Messiah… For four thousand years, every prophet spoke of Him; David sung of Him, and all down through. And when He come, the people had their own idea built up, what He must do, how He was going to do. How it was all explained, drawed out on charts and everything, till, when He come in that real simple way, it just—it just ruined their theology. See, they didn’t know it.

266 He come according to the Word. Now, do you believe that God spoke through the prophets, that that Messiah would come in a certain way? It’s too bad we haven’t got about another hour that we could go through there and explain how it was. See? We all know how it was, though, most of us. How God said He would come, and how that, “Thou, Bethlehem of Judaea, art not the least amongst…” And all down through there, and how He would do, and what He would do. See?

267 And, yet, He was so simple! Till, those great scholars had got it so mixed up, till they missed it. But, you know Jesus didn’t come contrary to the Word. He come according to the Word, but contrary to their interpretation. See? He taught things that was against their ecclesiastical training about Him.

But you see, for the Scripture to be fulfilled, countless events take place among human beings, which —whether we want it or not— make the Scripture be fulfilled.

How many young women of Bethlehem said: “It must be one of us.” But you see, there was one who was from Bethlehem, but she was in Nazareth; and those from Bethlehem, perhaps all of them said: “It must be in one of us.” And all the parents said: “Who knows… Let’s pray to God that this promise will be fulfilled in one of our daughters. So don’t go and live outside Bethlehem.”

But you see, it is not known for what reasons, in the one it had to be fulfilled in was living around Nazareth. It is not known if it was when she was already alive, that her parents moved to Nazareth, or if it was her grandfather or great-grandfather who had already moved there; but she was from Bethlehem, she was from that place. So, as far as we see, she was also born in Bethlehem, and Joseph in Bethlehem, and then later they were already gone; because they had to register in the place where they were registered.

But look, it doesn’t matter where a child of God goes: when the time comes for a divine promise to be fulfilled in that person and God has appointed a specific place, that person arrives at that place without knowing why he has arrived.

(…) Now, Bethlehem, the House of the Bread of God, represents the Mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is His Church, which is His spiritual Temple; because His Church, His Bride, His Wife, the Bride of Christ, is the House, the spiritual bread of God, it is the House of every Word that comes from the mouth of God to the people.

And Bethlehem, representing that Mystical Body of believers, we find that it has great promises for the prophetic Word of the end of time to be born, for the Word to be born in human flesh, and for every promise related to the Coming of the Word incarnate to be fulfilled.

Bethlehem is a very important place, although small; because a Governor would come out of Bethlehem, who would rule the Hebrew people: The King of Israel, from the same House of David. He obtained all those rights by being born there, which He will use at the end of time.

Now, Mary also represents the Mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Bride-Wife of the Lord Jesus Christ, where that Word is placed by the Word of an Angel, so that the fulfillment of the Word may be born of that Mystical Body of believers, so that the promise of the Seventh Seal, which is the Coming of the Lord, may be made flesh, so that every promise related to the Coming of the Lord and His Work at the end of time may become a reality.

Now, the opening of the Seventh Seal, as to its fulfillment, well, it begins to be fulfilled in a secret and simple way; and nobody understands or knows anything, but the Seventh Seal, His Coming, is being fulfilled in that stage. As His First Coming was being fulfilled in that stage of nine months in Mary’s womb; and then He was born in Bethlehem of Judea, and then He was taken to Egypt, and then taken to Nazareth; and so time went by and the child Jesus was growing: He became a young man, then He became an adult person; and this mystery was opened to the public when Jesus was almost 30 years old.

And there Jesus began to preach, and John the Baptist presented Him as the Messiah to come, and that mystery was opened there, although not all people understood it. In other words, there was almost thirty years of silence regarding the mystery of the First Coming of Christ; but then that mystery was opened to the public, under the ministry of the Messiah, of Jesus Christ.

And now it speaks of the Seventh Seal, which is the Second Coming of Christ, which will be a complete mystery in its beginning.

[305] The other day, last Sunday, a week ago today…”

Notice, here he said:

[304] ‘…all the mysteries of God would be known.’ We’re at the end time, the opening of the Seventh Seal.”

So by that time the Seventh Seal had to be on Earth, although it was a complete secret to the people.
