STAY WITH THE WORD – Part V – Page 16

The True Word

Dr. William Soto Santiago

Saturday, January 24, 1987

Cayey, Puerto Rico

There is nothing greater and more important on this Earth than the true Word. Remain with and in the true Word.
And I want to give you some good news so you don’t get so scared. As I have already told you, the messenger will always remain in the true Word. He will have nothing else to believe. And the elect will always remain in the true Word; for there is nothing else to believe, that is true, but the true Word of the end time.

So don’t be afraid. Remain in Her calm, even if there are problems, until you are transformed. And then you will continue in Her; because already transformed, without problems, it is easier to remain in the true Word.

So God bless you, God keep you, all of you here, all of you also in the different countries where you are; and may God keep you, protect you at all times.

May the Angel of the Lord, who encamps around those who fear Him: Defend each one of you in these final days, and from the dangers of these final days; and help you at all times to remain in the true Word; and bring you what we all desire: To transform your earthly body and give you a glorified body. So shall it be; for that is: SO SAYS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, in the true Word.

238 You don’t ask a sheep to bear wool, or, manufacture wool, I mean. The sheep don’t have to manufacture wool. He say, “Now, my master wants me to have some wool this year. I got to get busy.” No, the only thing he has to do is just remain a sheep. That’s right. The wool will automatically…It will—it will… He will bear it because…

239 And we’re not asked to manufacture fruits. We’re supposed to produce fruit, see, bear fruits. See? We’re supposed to bear fruit. And as long as you are a fruit tree of God, with God’s Word, God’s Word will vindicate Itself. It’ll bear fruit as long as the Word is in there. Jesus said, “If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you, ask what you will and it shall be done.” See? You don’t manufacture it. You work yourself not up to it. It’s just actually there, and goes on and on.

240 Now let’s go, just hurrying up now, with just a few minutes left, and then we’ll close.

241 Now, now, others go so far as to be fanatics. Now, they go on the other side. And they think, just because that they jump up and down, or get some kind of a sensation or emotion, speak with tongues, or give a prophecy that happened to be right, or something like that, they think that’s It, that—that they got It. But, it isn’t.

242 Jesus said, “Many will come to Me in that day, and say, ‘Lord, have not I prophesied in Your Name? In Your Name done many works, and cast out devils?’” He said, “Depart, I never knew you.” See? That isn’t it. That isn’t it, friend.

243 That’s the reason… And, tongues, the evidence? I believe in speaking in tongues, but I don’t take it to be the only evidence of the Holy Spirit. No, sir. The fruit of the Spirit is the evidence. See? Yeah. Now, you see, that’s the reason I have differed with the move of the Pentecostal brethren, in that manner, that they say as, “If a man speaks in tongues, he has the Holy Ghost.” I differ. That’s no sign he’s got the Holy Ghost. See?

244 I’ve heard devils speak with tongues just as fast as they could, drink blood out of a human skull, and call on the devil.

245 I’ve seen Indians take snakes and wrap around them, in the rain dance out there in Arizona; hold their hands up like that, and run right around. The witch doctor come out, lancing himself. And lay a pencil down, and it write in unknown tongues, and give the interpretation to it. See? So, don’t, don’t tell me that. I’m too old for that. See?

246 So the—the fruit of the Spirit is the ev-… Jesus said, “By their fruits,” not tongues or emotions, “but by their fruit you shall know them.” See? So that is the fruit of the Spirit. It’s God unfolding Himself in humility, sweetness, and every day the same. It’s something about it, a man that stays right with the Word. Every time that he sees the Word, he punctuates It with an “amen,” no matter what the other people say. That, he believes It, you see. All right. See?

Chosen to produce a permanent fruit

And now, when the faithful and wise servant is adopted, he will have by his side those who have been faithful and wise, and have neither added nor taken away from the menu that He prepared for the children of God of every age; and they will all be examined, and then confirmed in the position they will occupy beside the faithful and wise servant.

This is why it is so important to remain faithful to the Word of God relevant to the age and dispensation in which one lives; and as ministers, to be faithful to the Word of Christ relevant to the time in which one lives, without adding to it or taking away from it. And no one wants to risk losing his blessing in the glorious Millennial Kingdom, no one wants to have his position in the glorious Millennial Kingdom cancelled. Rather, we all want Him to confirm our place in the Millennial Kingdom.

That is why we have to be careful, because we don’t want to work in vain; but that every work we do be for eternal life; that every work we do remains forever; not that it be burned. For the work of every man shall be tried, and the fire shall try him.

The Laodicean Church Age – Page 362-363

Rev. William M. Branham

The wheat and the tares, which from the first age until now have grown side by side, are harvested. What Nicaea set out to accomplish has finally come to pass. With all the might of organization the false church turns from any vestige of truth and with political might reinforces herself with state backing and sets out to eradicate forever the true believer. But just when she is about to accomplish her cowardly plot the wheat is gathered into the garner. No longer will the wheat and tares grow side by side. No longer will the tares receive of the blessing of God because of the presence of the wheat, for the wheat will be gone and the wrath of God will be poured out in the sixth seal which will end in the utter destruction of the wicked.

Now I said a moment ago that the false vine came into full fruition in this age. Her fruit would mature and ripen. That is correct. This evil-spirited church, full of iniquity, will be revealed as the mustard seed that grew into a tree wherein lodged the fouls of the air. At her head will be the antichrist, the mystery of iniquity. All this is true. And if this is true, then it must also be true that the Bride Church will mature, and her ripeness shall be an identification with her Lord by means of the Word, and her Head Who will come to her is the Mystery of Godliness, Which indeed is Christ. And as the false church with all cunning and diabolical power made up of political force, physical force and demons of darkness come against this true vine, the true vine with the fullness of the Spirit and the Word will do the very acts of power that Jesus did. Then as she nears her Headstone, becoming like Him through the Word, Jesus will come that the bride and Groom may be forever united as one.

Already the visible manifestations of what I have been telling you are seen all around us. The ecumenical move of the tares is factual. But also it is a fact that the prophet for the last age must be bringing forth a message from God that will forerun the second coming of the Lord, for by his message will the hearts of the children be turned back to the Pentecostal fathers, and with the restoration of the Word will come the restoration of the power.

What crucial times are these in which we live. How careful we must be that we remain true to this Word and not take from it or add to it, for he who would speak where God has not spoken makes Him a liar.

Believing and working to conquer what was promised

Therefore, as He spoke in past ages through different messengers, He will be doing in this end time; and then the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will not have ears to hear other things, nor to hear things contrary to what is promised from God.

Whatever negative thing she hears, she will not pay attention to it, because she will have her eyes on the goal, on what God has promised; because she will be expecting her transformation. And anything that doesn’t contribute to the preparation to be transformed, every member of the Church will cast aside anything that hinders them; and they will remain listening to the Voice of Christ, and thus preparing themselves for their transformation.

Remember that negative things and people will always come up, and that, therefore, they will speak negative things. So it was in Moses’ time: People rose up and tried to divert the people from the Voice of God coming through the prophet Moses.

God was speaking in Moses, there was the Voice of God; but other people came and tried to divert the people to serve another god, represented in a golden calf. That is, they were changing religion: from the true God, to an Egyptian pagan god that originated in Babel or Babylon. It originated around Nimrod’s time, and then it changes names throughout the nation’s history.

So you see how problems arose in the midst of the people; but these were the people of God; and Moses was the servant of God, the prophet of God, and Aaron was his helper, he was the mouth of Moses; therefore he couldn’t speak anything but what Moses spoke, and he couldn’t do anything but what Moses told him to do.

When he did something else, he got the people into trouble, and God was very angry with the people and with Aaron. That should not be repeated, but history always repeats itself. And it depends on which side you will place yourself at the Last Day, because the side you place yourself in at the Last Day would be the side you would place yourself in if you were living back in Moses’ time. It is not going to be any other way if you were living in Moses’ time, your position would be the same in the time of Moses as you would assume in this end time.

Therefore, let us work hand in hand to conquer what God has promised; knowing that God is faithful, and fulfills what He has promised; and those who believe in the God of Israel, and believe in what He has promised, inherit it.

Let the ministers and also each brethren, each person, be united; united in praying for each other as well; not speaking against each other, but speaking to God; praying to God to bless the brethren and to bless the pastor, and to prepare us all to be transformed.

Because the goal is to be transformed in this end time. We don’t know in what year, but every year that comes, we wait for our transformation in that year; and if it doesn’t happen, we wait for it the next year; and if it doesn’t happen next year, we wait for it the next year. We wait for the transformation at all times, listening to the Voice of Christ in this end time.

It is important to be aware of the promises God has made for this time, and be working to make them a reality.

The test that is to come upon the whole world

(…) Before the adoption, notice, one goes through a trial stage; so it was for Adam in the Garden of Eden and it has been for many people, and it was for Jesus too; it was for the Hebrew people as the firstborn son of God.

But now, you see, it is in this end time that the sons and daughters of God of the Church of Jesus Christ will be adopted. And that is why we would again be as in the Garden of Eden in this end time, to go through a time of temptation, of squeeze; but we will remain faithful to Christ. And in the midst of that squeeze, the dead in Christ, if they have not already resurrected, will be resurrected; and we who are living will be transformed, if we are not already transformed in those days.

Now we can see that there are great blessings for God’s elect. But we have to be aware that that hour of trial is coming. And when the squeeze comes, our brother Branham says on page 119 of the book of Quotations: “What you have seen in part manifested (that is, the Third Pull), then you will see it manifested in all its fullness.” That is where miracles, wonders and signs will be seen worldwide.

And we are all going to pass the test: We are going to stand firm on the Word of Life, the Word of Christ; and we are going to obtain victory in divine love; and we are going to be adopted, we are going to be transformed, and we will have the eternal body. We will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

The Word of God and the word of man

Why does God command to listen to the prophet He sends? Because God places His Word in that prophet. The Word of God for that age or for that dispensation is in the mouth of that prophet. And with that Word being spoken by that prophet is that God calls and gathers His elect of that time. There is no other way.

And every elect is called to remain listening to the Voice of God through that messenger for that time. It doesn’t matter if many preachers rise up in the world, or other people also rise up from among the same group of the elect; as it happened in Moses’ time: Many heard Dathan, Korah, Abiram, and so on.

But what was God’s will? That they hear the Voice of God, not the voice of men.

Dathan, Abiram and Korah had a human voice; but Moses had the Voice of God for the people. God placed His Word in the mouth of Moses; therefore, those who heard Dathan, Abiram and Korah, heard the word of men, which was contrary to the Word of God.

See, Dathan and Korah and Abiram wanted to return the people to Egypt; that was contrary to the Word of God. But see, they also wanted to take Moses away and place themselves, and they wanted to take Aaron away from the high priesthood as well to place themselves. Everything contrary to the Divine Program.

Anyone, at any age and in any dispensation, who rises up to try to take the place of the messenger of that time, is being like Dathan – like Korah, Dathan and Abiram, who tried to take Moses’ place.

God doesn’t allow any person, even if they are family of the same messenger, to try to occupy or place themselves in the place of the messenger, to try to get the people to listen to him.
